I’m ready

I really did mean to go to bed a few minutes ago, but my journal grabbed me before I made it there. I just hope that I can sleep in longer tomorrow than I did this morning!

I haven’t shared many lines from my journal lately, so I thought it was high time. Of course this is still very rough, but maybe a few of these lines or thoughts will make it into a song at some point…

Sometimes these thoughts
come faster than I can get them out
And I’m still reaching
for something I can’t quite see
What are You hinting at?
I can never quite figure it out

But I’m ready
for when You’ll speak clearly
For when I can see You, embrace You
Where there will be
no more pain
no more hate and unrest
no more need
Yeah, you could say
that I’m ready for that
